The UM-4 series Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge with A-Scan snapshot and high resolution 2.4" Color OLED, 320×240 Pixels Display; used for measuring the thickness of metal materials, pipes etc.
A-scan snapshot allows the user to view and analyse the waveform for correctness of measured result and identify any problem areas such as wear, or corrosion build up etc.
UM-4 also features Echo-Echo mode* for thru paint / coating measurement. In this mode, a paint layer or coating can be ignored and the substrate metal is measured accurately. It can be used for measuring both metal and non-metalic materials including Plastic, Steel, PVC and Glass Plates and Pipes.
It has a large capcity data logger and extensive DataView software** making it suitable for use in industrial fields such as manufacturing and metal processing, etc.
